Manchester United legend Andy Cole says Robin van Persie doesn't deserve the club captaincy.
Cole says the former Arsenal skipper hasn't been with the club long enough.
He said: "Robin has only been at the football club for two years, and you look at that and you say well there's players that have been there for 10 years."
Cole also told the Daily Star: "There's no one you can pin your hat on and say 'yeah he's going to captain Man United', unlike in previous years when you already knew.
"In previous years there's always been a candidate, but now you just don't know."
