Manchester United legend Andy Cole knows there's many fans angry over the manner of David Moyes' sacking.
Rumours that United's hierarchy had taken the decision to remove Moyes after the 2-0 loss to Everton were rife on social media and widely reported in the press up to 24 hours before the Scot was eventually relieved of his duties.
But Cole was frustrated that his former club had allowed the situation to get out of hand.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Cole said: "I think everyone's very disappointed with the way it's happened - all in the press first. Tempers and feelings are running high but Manchester United are trying to do the best by Manchester United."
