Manchester United legend Andy Cole feels the rivalry with Manchester City is becoming more intense with every year.
Cole says City are close to overtaking Liverpool as Manchester United's most bitter rivals after their new-found success.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "Every game is special but derby game is getting more and more intense now. When I played, Liverpool was the derby because they were a top team.
"Man City have now got themselves in a position to win the Premier League.
"It's not just about the bragging rights in the city now, it's about getting yourself three points closer to Man City, who are going to be up there this season again."
