Manchester United striker legend Andy Cole says it's too soon to judge youngsters Mame Biram Diouf and Kiko Macheda.

Cole knows both youngsters could be thrown into the title chasing fray with Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen out injured.

"They are still young boys learning their trade," he told MUTV.

"I doubt that the manager would have envisaged a situation in which he would had to use them regularly."
