Manchester United legend Eric Cantona admits he'd love to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson.

But the Frenchman accepts such a prospect is unlikely.

Cantona told RMC: "If I were to wish, Manchester United is the dream of every person. But Ferguson is a man who has always lived for football. He is still here to stay and he will remain for years.

"So I do not want to talk about it. I do not want it today, but you never know. I am very happy in my life, I do a lot of beautiful things.

"What would I do in a few years? I do not know. Maybe one day I will do this job because I think that I have something to give as a creator. The championship of France does not really interest me."
