Manchester United legend Eric Cantona is set to invest in Bath City FC in order to make the club 'even greater'.
After Bath fell into financial trouble, the club's famous fan, film director Ken Loach, who worked with Cantona on the film Looking for Eric set up a crowd-funding plea to revive the club's fortunes.
Now that Cantona is on board, Bath are set for a big revival of their financial fortunes as the Frenchman intends to raise the profile and invest himself.
Speaking on Big Bath City Bid YouTube channel, Cantona said: "I am supporting them and buying a share myself. It is a great club, I saw it for myself. Now, we can make it even greater."
In order for a takeover to be possible, supporters need to raise between £75,000 and £1.25 million.
