“He’s not swashbuckling like Ronaldo. He isn’t full of tricks but he is a good old-fashioned winger who wants to go outside defenders and his pace is electric. He has made the position his own. He’s grown into a United player, as I suspected he would," Bruce told the Manchester Evening News.
“He does remind me of Andrei Kanchelskis in the United side in the early 90s that I was in. I think Andrei had the edge when it came to speed but I tell you it would have been some race between the two of them!
“But Antonio would get the nod for me because he has terrific work rate and is a fantastic team player.”
