Manchester United legend David Beckham has been honoured with a PFA award for his achievements for club and country.
Beckham is arguably one of the greatest midfielders to have graced the Premier League and the 41-year-old was honoured on Sunday night for his contribution to the English game with the PFA Merit Award.
The ex-England captain won six Premier League titles with United between 1996 and 2003, and is also the Three Lions' second most capped outfield player with a whopping 115 appearances to his name.
Beckham follows ex-United teammate Ryan Giggs in winning the PFA Merit Award after the Welshman claimed the prestigious gong last year.
