Manchester United are lining up a shock double raid on FC Basle in January.
The Daily Star says United are willing to splash out to snap up Mohamed Salah, according to reports on the continent.
United are also eyeing up Salah's team-mate Fabian Schar, 21, in a double deal.
Switzerland defender Salah had been lined up by Arsenal.
