Manchester United midfielder Danny Drinkwater was delighted to make a winning debut for Huddersfield against Southampton.

"The manager says he wants me to give my all, which I'm quite happy to do," he told the Huddersfield Examiner. "There is a fair bit of competition for a place here which is good.

"I'm looking forward to the challenge and I want to help win promotion."
