Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar says retirement is not on his mind.
"I admit I think about it more than it did when I was 26! For the last three summers we have been deciding what I was going to do, but I have good harmony with Sir Alex, so every time we have decided to add another year," Van der Sar told the Manchester Evening News.
"Of course at some point that will stop, but I am not going to worry about that because I have had a great career and anything that lies ahead now is a bonus."
Earlier in his career, van der Sar said he would return to Ajax for a swansong, but that idea has been shelved as he pursues more glory with the Reds.
"I said when I left Ajax I would quit, but at that time I didn't expect to be playing at such a high level at this stage."
