Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is expected in Turkey today.

Haber Turk says the World Cup-winning keeper, 33, will fly to Turkey to undergo extensive medical tests with Besiktas.

The increased focus on his fitness is down to fears he could still be hampered by an injury he sustained during his time at Barcelona.

Once that's done, he will put the finishing touches on a £1m move that will earn him £1.5m-a-year.

Valdes, who is out of contract at the end of the season at Old Trafford, is poised to sign a two-year deal.
