Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is convinced about the quality of the Premier League.

The former Barcelona goalkeeper penned an 18 month deal in January.

"The Premier League is more physical, but still plays football. Players often try to hit you, so I think it's a good league to be tested as a keeper.

"This will be a good experience for me.

"Despite what one could say after the elimination of English clubs in the Champions League, I think the level of the championship is still very tough."
