Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes will no longer join Besiktas after his much-anticipated move to the Turkish giants fell through, according to reports.
BBC is reporting the 33-year-old former Barcelona shot-stopper backed out of the move after Besiktas attempted to alter the terms of the deal at the last minute.
Valdes was due to fly to Istanbul to finalise the move on Sunday, before Besiktas' actions sparked his dramatic about face.
Despite being told he has no future at United, it is understood Valdes' preference now is to remain in England.
