Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has been ruled out of the World Cup.
Romero is out of the World Cup with a knee injury just one day after being named in Argentina's 23-man squad.
The 31-year-old, who is Argentina's first choice shot-stopper, had been chosen alongside Willy Caballero and Franco Armani.
But Argentina's official Twitter account broke the bad news late on Tuesday evening, just hours after he was snapped in training.
The tweet read: "Sergio Romero suffered today a joint blockage in his right knee that will leave him out of the squad."
