Man Utd keeper pitches up at Hartlepool

Mick Wadsworth has made his second foray into the transfer market since becoming Hartlepool United caretaker manager, reports the Hartlepool Mail. Wadsworth completed a one-month loan deal for Manchester United youngster Conor Devlin with the keeper going straight onto the bench for Tuesday night's Victoria Park clash with Carlisle.

The 19-year-old Northern Ireland youth international, a member of the reserve team at Old Trafford, will act as back-up to fellow loanee Jake Kean.

Both of Pools' first-choice stoppers - Scott Flinders and Andy Rafferty - remain on the treatment table.
