Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has shutdown talk of a move to Real Madrid.

De Gea, 21, has a fight on his hands with United's No 2 Anders Lindegaard.

But, ahead of today's crucial trip to Chelsea, De Gea told The Sun: "I am happy at United and not thinking about a return to Spain.

"I've accepted the challenge to learn and improve as a professional.

"And fighting for my place gives me a bigger incentive to play well."
