Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea insists there isn't great differences between the Premier League and Spanish Liga.
Having bulked up slightly since his arrival from Spain, the £18million summer arrival should be more able to withstand those physical challenges which do not occur in his homeland.
"The leagues are not too dissimilar in their style but English football is a little bit more physical and maybe a bit more aggressive," he said.
"The challenges you face up to are tougher and referees let play go on more here than they do in Spain."
