Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is being blamed for Diego Maradona's split with his fiancee.
The People says Maradona, who was in Manchester yesterday, has kicked out his young fiancée after a bust-up over De Gea.
The 53-year-old World Cup winner is said to have wrongly accused Rocio Oliva, 23, of flirting with de Gea at United's training camp in Dubai.
Maradona is reported to have exploded with jealousy over claims she tried to swap Twitter and Facebook details with the Spanish keeper, who is also 23.
The couple, both Argentines based in Dubai, got engaged on Valentine's Day.
Now Rocio has flown back to Buenos Aires alone.
His nephew Chino Lacoste jokingly hinted Rocio might be looking for someone younger, adding: "A goalkeeper perhaps."
De Gea says he has never met the woman.
