Manchester United have jumped into the battle for Genoa superkid Pietro Pellegri.

The Mirror says United have entered the race for Genoa's teenage sensation Pellegri.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been credited with an interest in the 16-year-old.

Pellegri has shot to stardom this season and scored a stunning brace against Lazio last week.

The young gun is understood to have been close to joining Inter in the summer before the Serie A club's owners blocked the deal.
