Manchester United are joining Manchester City and Red Bull Leipzig in the hunt for Rennes' talented youngster Joris Gnagnon, according to TMW.

The centre-back is highly rated in France, after a series of impressive performances since getting into the Rennes first team.

Now it appears that United are among the clubs hoping to sign him in the summer.

He would be an unusual signing for United, given they already have many central defenders. But there is a chance the likes of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling could depart in the summer.
