Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed interest in Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez. The Chile international is a target for Arsenal and Manchester City, with his former Udinese sports chief Fabrizio Larini urging him to seriously consider a move to Arsene Wenger's Gunners.

Sportmediaset says Ferguson is also interested in Sanchez and is close to his agent, Fernando Felicevich.

The United manager is in the market for a new wide-player with Nani expected to be sold in the summer.
