Manchester United are determined to complete a swoop on PSV Eindhoven by luring Georginio Wijnaldum to England.

The Express reports that Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is keen to bring the PSV captain to Old Trafford after capturing Memphis Depay for £25million last week.

Midfielder Wijnaldum was recently linked with Liverpool but PSV's technical director Marcel Brands denied claims that the Reds had made contact regarding a potential summer swoop.

Now it is believed that United are intent on strengthening their midfield in the next transfer window by landing 24-year old Wijnaldum who has played 18 times for Holland.
