MAN UTD IN AMERICA: Depay planning to follow up debut goal with many more

Memphis Depay is determined to make scoring goals a habit for new club Manchester United.

The Dutch winger, who joined from PSV Eindhoven for £25million earlier this summer, opened his Red Devils account in the 3-1 win over San Jose Earthquakes in the International Champions Cup on Tuesday.

Depay arrived at Old Trafford with enormous expectations and after hitting the back of the net for the first time, is looking to add plenty more goals to his profile for United in his debut season with the famous English club.

"It's a great feeling," he enthused on the club's official channel.

"I'm a striker or attacking midfielder so it's always nice to score goals and give assists. Today was my first one and, I think, the first of many so I keep working on it.

"I really enjoy it. [I'm] serious – every day. To wake up as a Manchester United player is awesome. I've settled in well and the boys are very nice."
