Manchester United are likely to come back with an improvement of their failed £30million offer for FC Porto winger James Rodriguez.
The Daily Mail reports that the Portuguese club turned down the overtures of the Red Devils but that rejected bid is not about to stop Sir Alex Ferguson from pursuing his number one transfer target.
Further reports emanating in Portugal suggest that Porto turned down the offer from United as Rodriguez has a buyout clause of £40million written into his contract meaning that Ferguson will have to up the ante if he wants to lure the 20-year old Colombian young gun.
