Manchester United legend Paul Scholes insists Wayne Rooney's wonder goal at West Ham United wasn't the club's best of modern times.
Scholes said that David Beckham's goal from the half-way line against Wimbledon in 1996 was better than Rooney's long-range volley in a 2-0 win at West Ham at the weekend.
"They are both great goals," Scholes said. "Wayne's is probably a little bit more difficult because it is a volley and a harder technique. I'd probably still stick with Beckham's goal because It looked a more beautiful goal. But they are two unbelievable players and two unbelievable goals."
