Man Utd icon Ferguson slams Newcastle treatment of managers

Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson questions Newcastle United's treatment of their managers in his new autobiography.

Fergie feels that Sir Bobby Robson - who was sacked after finishing fifth - left the club too early and Sam Allardyce wasn't given enough time.

Ferguson says: "Look at Bobby Robson who was pushed out by Newcastle.

"Sam Allardyce, a proven manager, was given six months by the same club."
