Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson says Jurgen Klopp is the ideal manager for Liverpool.

Ferguson is a big fan of the German.

"He has great relationship with the fans," said Ferguson, quoted by the Mirror.

"And he has their support since he demonstrates his enthusiasm on the sidelines, with his energy and his personality when he jumps out there.

"I think the combination of the two fit together."
