Manchester United icon Sir Bobby Charlton hopes to see more from Wayne Rooney after his performance in England's 1-1 draw with the USA.
In his column for the Mail on Sunday, Charlton wrote: "Wayne Rooney did all right yesterday but we know he can have more of an impact on a match.
"As I said last week, I think he does work better with a proper strike partner and I would like to see England persevere with that against Algeria, whether it be Heskey or Peter Crouch, who showed how dominant he is in the air when he came on. So I'd like to say chin up everyone. I am still hopeful - provided we learn to keep our discipline."
