Manchester United have been hit by a new injury blow during international week.

After midfielder Anderson's setback while on duty with Brazil, Rio Ferdinand had to come off before the end of England's 2-1 victory over Ukraine last night.

Three Lions boss Fabio Capello said: "He was in a bit of pain and I will have to speak to the doctor."
