Manchester United hero Teddy Sheringham says his old club deserve the Premier League title.

United are 15 points clear at the top of the table.

"Without a doubt, United would be worthy winners," Sheringham told manutd.com. "They have been the most consistent team.

"I mean you could, after losing one [league title], feel let down and just wither away but that's all down to the manager. He makes you respond if you have won or lost. That's done and dusted - move on and get the next one."
