Manchester United ace Javier Hernandez admits mates back home in Mexico rib him for thinking about quitting just three years ago.
Hernandez, 22, is willing to be patient following a dark spell at his old club Chivas in 2007.
He told The Sun: "I was depressed. There were many crazy ideas in my head. I doubted my ability. I thought about quitting but my family told me that would be a mistake.
"My friends are still sarcastic, saying, 'You wanted to quit and look where you are now'."
