Manchester United hero Henning Berg admits his old club is "in trouble".
Currently in charge of Stabaek, Berg has heard about United's problems this season.
He told VG: "I'm not going to wonder so much about Mourinho's situation, but United is in trouble, yes. They had good results last year, without dominating matches like Manchester City did. In terms of play, I think they lacked a lot when it came to interaction both aggressively and defensively.
"Manchester City is at a very high level, and Liverpool seems to be stable and good. It's going to be very tough to get ahead of these two teams on the table."
