Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is delighted for Jesse Lingard after his goal in England's win over Panama.

His effort came as no surprise to Ferdinand, who, at half-time, said he's seen it all before.

"This finish here was exquisite, I've seen this since he was 11 years old," the former Man Utd defender said on BBC1.

"When you have intelligence and game management like this kid Lingard has, you could be two foot tall.

"That finish there, a generation of kids will remember that goal. Lovely celebration."
