Manchester United winger Angel di Maria insists his first goal for the club was no fluke. Di Maria claimed that his goal in victory over QPR, direct from a free-kick from the right, had been intended.
He said: "I'm very happy with my debut. I feel very much at home.
"I've been practising this [free-kick] during the week and done that in training so it wasn't a surprise." Di Maria came off with cramp but Van Gaal said there was no serious injury to the player."
