Manchester United are surprised at claims they have agreed a deal for Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier.

Several newspapers reported on Wednesday that United were set to pay £27m for the 24 year old Ivory Coast international's services despite his ban from entering the UK.

The player was found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a Paris nightclub in September last year.

However, Sky Sports have been told United do not want to sign Aurier.
