Man Utd great Yorke: I'm not worried about Chicharito and Welbeck

Former Manchester United star Dwight Yorke says he is not at all worried about the state of the clubs strike force.

The 40-year old is of firm belief that young strikers Danny Welbeck and Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez have what it takes to become top quality players alongside star man Wayne Rooney but he feels that there are other areas of the squad that may need strengthening.

"They have certainly learnt how tough it is to be at the top. Chicharito's first season, he was a bit of an unknown and came into the (Premier League) environment and did extremely well," Yorke told tribalfootball.com.

"The next season is always difficult because people know a little bit more about you and he had injuries and that was difficult for him but hopefully he will know what it takes. There is competition for places and he will come back a lot stronger.

"Welbeck has come onto the scene and had a fantastic year from his point of view. He's got into the England senior team and seems to be a regular fixture but he now needs to reproduce that and get better and stronger.

"He's a young man with good athletic ability and he's improving so that department I'm not worried about it's some other aspects of the team that raises a bit of concern."
