Recently-retired Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar believes David de Gea will have no problems replacing him at Old Trafford.
The 40-year old Dutchman ended his glittering career at the end of last season and since his exit the English champions have signed 20-year de Gea from Atletico Madrid.
van der Sar is confident that the Spain U21 international can handle the pressure of coming to a club like United.
"They scouted all over Europe and found a couple of targets and they chose de Gea," he told ESPN Star.
"Hopefully he's going to have a great career at Manchester United.
"He's very talented. He's already won a trophy with Atletico Madrid and the Spain Under-21 team so the prospect [to do well] is there.
"Everybody has to be his own person [but] I've met him. I've spoken to him and it looks to me that he can handle it."
