Man Utd great Neville: ‘Pogba is confused!’

Gary Neville believes Paul Pogba must feel confused in his current role with Manchester United under Jose Mourinho.

The £89million summer signing has shown glimpses of his undoubted ability early in his second United stint but overall has failed to hit the highs expected of a player worth so much.

On Sunday in the 4-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, the Frenchman was again below his best, according to Neville who believes Mourinho is still trying to work out where to play him.

"Pogba is no doubt confused," former United captain Neville said on Sky Sports.

"He has been signed for such a huge fee and I look at him and it was a difficult day for him.

"It was difficult for him at times at Anfield as a No 10, so at the moment, I think Jose Mourinho is trying to find a way to incorporate him and when you sign a player for that level of money, you somehow have to make it fit."
