Manchester United's deal for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to reach €42.5 million.
Kicker says BVB chiefs have managed to squeeze out extra millions from United so to settle on a deal this weekend.
It's suggested BVB will use the extra funds to splash out on further signings, having already added six new players this summer.
BVB chief Hans-Joachim Watzke announced late yesterday that United had made an "improved bid" and a decision over Mkhitaryan's sale will be made "this weekend".
Mkhitaryan has already agreed personal terms with United.
