Manchester United boss David Moyes is returning to Everton with an improved bid for Leighton Baines. The Daily Star says United are set to make an improved £16m bid for Baines in the hope of luring him to Old Trafford.

Everton last week rejected a £12m offer for the England defender, with chairman Bill Kenwright keen to keep him at Goodison.
