And this is likely to scupper Lewandowski's chances - even though he has agreed personal terms with Bayern.
Furious Dortmund will try to block the Poland hotshot's move or make him see out his contract and let him go for nothing next summer.
However, an £18m bid from Fergie would be hard to refuse.
