Departing Manchester United chief David Gill admits they're gambling on Wilfried Zaha's potential.
Zaha was signed in January before being loaned back to Crystal Palace for the second-half of last season.
"He's a player we knew and Alex had been following. We'd seen him and we were scouting him a lot in the Championship - a lot of teams were - and we just felt that because of his age, his potential and what he can bring to Manchester United it was the right thing to do - even if he's still quite raw in a lot of respects, as a young man," ," says Gill, in the club's official new book Champions 20|13.
