Manchester United wing-back Antonio Valencia insists defeat to Manchester City doesn't end their title tilt.

Valencia thinks that City may slip up given what happened in 2012.

United were nine points clear with eight games of the season to go, only for City to win the title in the final minutes of the season.

"We know that 11 points is a big gap but I can think back to when Sir Alex Ferguson was manager and the gap was something like nine points and we ended up losing the title," he told Sky Sports.

"So we know that it's the Premier League, we know that everyone's capable of beating everyone else and it's just a case of keep fighting."
