Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw admitted great frustration after defeat to Tottenham last night.

United had had the better of the first 45 minutes, with Romelu Lukaku missing their best chance after he latched onto a poor backpass from Danny Rose.

"You look at the first half, we were outstanding," Shaw told MUTV.

"We had a lot of chances to put the game to bed. If we score, it's game over.

"Second half, we spoke inside, Jose said they haven't had one corner, one cross, one dangerous opportunity.

"Actually to be fair they did, a couple of times we made mistakes in the first half. But no corners, no crosses, nothing.

"But first corner they get comes the goal. Even then maybe we should have been relaxed, it's only one goal, we still had time.

"But then comes another mistake, another silly, stupid goal. We were so on top, so it's really disappointing."
