Manchester United and England left back Luke Shaw says he never stopped believing he would succeed.
Shaw endured a difficult couple seasons since his leg break, which put him out for nearly a year.
However, the Englishman has started the first four games of United's Premier League season. He even won player of the month at the club.
Shaw said the following at a press conference while on England duty: "I've always believed in myself. I've had hard times but to be the best, you've got to be professional.
"That's what I've learnt and especially from the staff at Manchester United, I've learnt a lot.
"I just need to look forward now, keep professional, keep training hard, keep improving myself as a player, keep doing what I'm doing at the moment."
