Manchester United fullback Rafael is on the verge of signing for Olympique Lyon.

Le Parisien says a deal with Lyon for the 25-year-old is very close to being sealed.

Lyon qualified for the Champions League after finish second in Ligue 1 last season and represent an attractive destination for the right-back who didn't make a league start after October last season.

Manchester United have signed Matteo Darmian from Torino this summer, and are eyeing a move for 18-year-old right-back Joao Pedro from Palmeiras.
