Man Utd fullback Evra: It was positive point from Villa

Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra says they can be happy with their 2-2 draw at Aston Villa.

With just ten minutes remaining United sparked into life with late strikes from Kiko Macheda and Nemanja Vidic earning Sir Alex's men a draw.

"It was a difficult day for us," the Frenchman told MUTV. "Villa had a young team that played very well and for 20 minutes in the second half they could have scored more goals. We are all very disappointed about that and we know we could have lost the game. It's the first time this season that a team has dominated us like that.

"We can look at it as a positive point because once again we showed the Manchester United spirit and never gave up. But I don't know why we waited so long to show the character and hunger to win the game. We must show that earlier in games so we can kill them off quickly."
