Manchester United defender Patrice Evra admits the festive programme can be decisive in the title battle.

United have a history of picking up plenty of points during the hectic festive period and defender Evra expects this season to be the same.

The Frenchman said: "This is the most important part of the season and Manchester United always do well at this time. It is where we get a lot of points. I'm really confident about the games that are coming up."
