Manchester United fullback Alexander Buttner has revealed the support he receives from senior teammate Patrice Evra.
Even at a time when Evra is battling to convince manager David Moyes he has a future at the club, Buttner has revealed how supportive he has been in the Dutchman's own development.
"He has so much experience and he has helped me so much," Buttner told the Manchester Evening News. "He talks to me about how I need to choose when I go forward and when I need to stay at the back.
"When I play we talk together at half-time and he does the same at full-time.
"I am very grateful for his help - he has played for many years and is one of the best left-backs in the world so there is so much I can learn from him.
"I hope to play more games this season, particularly with the World Cup coming up next year.
"Playing more matches and improving are my aims and it's great that I have someone like Patrice to learn from."
